OAREB’s mandatory registration education program is extended to include 150 hours of course study. OAREB becomes the Ontario Real Estate Association (OREA). “The Canadian Real Estate Board Foundation – Ontario Fund” returned to OREA, now named the “Ontario REALTORS Care® Foundation.”
At this time, OREA allows brokers and salespeople to be recognized as full Members (not just boards). OAREB is officially chosen by the provincial government to deliver real estate education programs.
