To become a Member of any of Ontario’s 42 real estate boards, prospective salespeople must attend 16 lectures and pass a 2½ hour examination. Mandatory education is established and each course costs $75.00.

The REALTORS Care® Foundation is established as “The Canadian Real Estate Board Foundation – Ontario Fund.” The Association and the Ontario Human Rights Commission approves a statement on fair housing practices to protect the rights of people from all cultural backgrounds.
