OAREB makes education courses available and basic examinations for registration become law.

By the end of the 1950s, the Association has 5,627 individual Members and 39 Member boards.

The Code of Ethics, that holds practitioners to a higher business standard, is adopted.

Until the late 50s, women are almost unheard of in the real estate industry. At present, women make up more than half of the real estate industry.

By 1955, at least 300 Toronto women are registered to sell real estate.
